Dr. Peter Zwicker Dentist

Dr. Zwicker has been practicing dentistry in Dartmouth since 1982. He attended the University of New Brunswick and earned his Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Biochemistry in 1978. From there he continued at Dalhousie University and graduated in 1982 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He practiced dentistry in a group practice until deciding to move to his own practice in Downtown Dartmouth in 1995.

Always ahead of his time in the technology of dentistry, Dr. Zwicker continues to advance his knowledge of modern dental procedures. His practice is equipped to provide digital radiography and intraoral scanning for same day crown restorations.

Over the years Dr. Zwicker had earned the nickname “Painless Pete” for his gentle approach and delicate touch with dental procedures. He has taught at Dalhousie University Dental School and is open to allowing students to come into his office for job shadowing and placement. He is a strong supporter of the community and remains committed to applying his dental skills and knowledge to continue providing patient centered care. He endeavours to provide a variety of dental services in a gentle and caring manner that has resulted in his practice maintaining multiple generations of families in his care.
